Dealing With Yourself

Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening to you depending upon what time of the day you happen to be glancing at the “Inquiring Mind With Coach TMB!”

Today I am going to share with you a few key thoughts to help you as you move forward in closing 2012 and enter in to 2013.  My first thought is this… Learn how to be real with yourself because you can fool some of the people some of the time but you are not fooling yourself any of the time.  You can see you no matter how many times you try to act like you don’t see the real you, period.  Stop lying to yourself by always pointing your fingers at others but refusing to take the necessary time needed to assess yourself and your situations in life.  Coach is so tired of super judgmental people who are always trying to come across like they have always had it together only to realise they themselves had issues or skeletons in their closet they were trying to run away from and were dealing with them by always talking about other people never acknowledging they too were and are broken people who are imperfect.

The second thing I feel led to address is to deal with yourself through your emotions and emotional levels.  This is a key area in your life you also need to look at closely because when you don’t learn how to deal with your emotions you tend to look in other areas, places, and or people to escape the pain or turmoil you may be experiencing at any given time.  Listen, someone once told me that “your feelings are real” and you can’t hide them or continue to sweep them under the rug.  How you feel about you and or a circumstance you are in is important and needs to be recognized but it is also a two edged sword as well.  Just because you have certain feelings about something you are dealing with through someone hurting you in your emotions doesn’t give you as a person the right to hinder your progress in life by having a long term self pity party, which totally and completely stagnates your growth.  Do you understand what I am saying?

I am not trying to be hard on you but yet I am having this conversation with you because I need to challenge you as we bring this year to a close because these areas and some others I choose to not address in this entry are key reasons as to why the majority of people settled for being merely average or below average then sinking into a life of I’ll never ________ (fill in the blanks).  You my friends are all called to do and be something great in and with your life but you first must learn how to be real with yourself and deal with your emotions because if you dont’t these two things alone have the power to cause you to have a major life setback and never achieve your potential for greatness.

Whoever you are and whatever you feel deal with it; the good, the bad, the ugly, and the excellent.  Come to terms with all truths, deal with all the hurts and learn how to let go, move on, cultivate your excellence, and learn how to evolve into the best you none of us has ever seen but need to see…

Be challenged and empowered today into your greatness!
